Habitat Homeowner Program

everyone deserves a place to live

Qualifications for Homeownership

Every parent, every person, should have the decent shelter they need to thrive. The basis for a family’s selection is their level of need for better housing, their willingness to partner with us and work alongside volunteers, and their ability to pay an affordable mortgage.

Cost of Home - Let's do something about it!

_Cost of Home II

It all starts with you. We know change is possible.

We know that a family should never have to spend more than 30 percent of their income on a home.

Our collective voice, through  Cost of Home – powered by Habitat’s strong awareness and our vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live – uniquely positions us to make a material impact on the housing deficit in Carteret and Onslow Counties.  Together, we can make the cost of home something we all can afford.

Help us build the movement. Remember that whether you participate in a big or a small way, we can make a big impact.  Take a look.
